Terry was approached by the previous owners of the About Thetford magazine in 2014 and asked if he wished to take over the business so that they could retire. Despite being particularly busy already he agreed to the new challenge as he wanted to see the magazine continue and develop further as it is such an important resource locally. Terry convinced his brother and sister to join him and establish a new Ltd Company (In and About Thetford Ltd) which purchased the publishing rights to the magazine.
Terry produced the first magazine under the new ownership in November 2014 and has served as Editor since that time. During this time the magazine has grown and developed further with 12,500 magazines now printed every month and the delivery area extended to include more of the rural area surrounding Thetford. There have been new features added as well including the monthly ‘Community Hero’ award and the ‘I remember when’ feature.
